What an incredible evening for Chippenham!

On Thursday 12th February 2026, the Chippenham Chamber and Town Team proudly hosted the official launch event for our exciting new movement — and what a launch it was.  With 70 attendees representing a vibrant mix of community members, organisations, charities, and businesses, the room was filled with energy, optimism and a shared passion for our town’s future.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a real sense of momentum. Familiar faces connected with new ones, conversations flowed effortlessly, and the atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm. It was inspiring to see so many different sectors of our community coming together with a shared purpose: to celebrate and strengthen everything that makes Chippenham such a special place.

The evening was not just about launching a new initiative — it was about building connections. Representatives from local businesses exchanged ideas with charity leaders, community organisers met potential collaborators, and long-standing supporters welcomed new voices into the conversation. The diversity in the room truly reflected the heart of Chippenham: collaborative, forward-thinking, and community-driven.

We were thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response to the new movement. Attendees expressed genuine excitement about the opportunities ahead and the potential for meaningful impact. There was a strong appetite for partnership, creativity, and action — and that collective drive is exactly what will make this initiative a success.

Events like this remind us of the strength we have when we work together. The Chippenham Chamber and Town Team exists to champion local enterprise, support community wellbeing, and help our town thrive — and Thursday’s launch was a powerful demonstration of that mission in action.
