Our services include learner lessons, advanced driving courses, fleet training, and lifelong learning initiatives focused on safety, sustainability, and future mobility. We also provide training for individuals who want to become qualified driving instructors.
Our Director
Mel is the Director of Next Mile Driver Training, leading the growth of a modern driver training and assessment service that supports learners, returning drivers and organisations with driving‑for‑work responsibilities. Her background spans advanced driver coaching, instructor development and motorsport, and also holds an ARDS Race International‑C Licence and actively competes in circuit racing, bringing precision and real‑world vehicle control into her approach.
She is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor and Fleet Trainer with qualifications including RoSPA Gold, IAM RoadSmart National Observer and the AA Advanced Driving Diploma.
Mel oversees the delivery of high‑quality tuition, workplace driver assessments and professional development programmes that help individuals and businesses meet safety standards with confidence.
